Former Infosys Chief Launches Startup Aiming to Disrupt the IT Services Industry
Vishal Sikka, the former CEO of Infosys, is launching a new startup called Hang Ten Systems, aiming to disrupt the traditional IT services market by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI). Recently, the company secured a seed funding of $32 million, led by Mayfield and backed by Aramco Ventures. Hang Ten focuses on aiding enterprises in building, modifying, and operating software through AI-driven development and automation, differentiating itself in an industry facing the pressures of AI advancements.
Sikka’s new venture emerged as IT service firms, including his former company Infosys, are working to adapt to the growing role of AI.
