Anthropic Secures $5 Billion from Amazon, Promises $100 Billion in Cloud Investments

Anthropic has announced that Amazon will invest an additional $5 billion, raising its total investment in the AI company to $13 billion. In exchange, Anthropic has committed to spending over $100 billion on Amazon Web Services (AWS) over the next decade, which will provide them with up to 5 gigawatts of new computing capacity to develop and operate their AI model, Claude.
